Mission Pointer[edit]

The activity Talk to the bartender at Viewport points to this mission. You can acquire it when you overhear UC Security complaining that the bartender keeps complaining to them.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Pick up the package behind locked door of Storage A, or talk to Nyssa Marcano at The Viewport.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Viewport[edit]

Nyssa Marcano, the bartender at Viewport is in the process of inventing a new drink that she claims will make the Viewport famous galaxy-wide, butshe is missing a key ingredient. She made a deal with a hauler to bring her samples of an ingredient that she thinks is key to the drink. Unfortunately this hauler is involved is smuggling and has been apprehended by UC Security while his whole cargo has been impounded. For financial reasons she can't order more of the ingredient. She is unwillint to attempt synthesizing the ingredient because she wants to keep the recipie secret. She already talked to Sergeant Yumi and submitted a security release form but that was declined because her cargo is tied up with other illegal cargo the hauler was transporting.
Nyssa knows that the cargo is held at the spaceport, not the security office.

Polite but Unhelpful[edit]

You can go to the UC Security Office and ask Sergeant Yumi about the cargo, but he is not willing to bend rules and regulations. You can steal a UC Security Keycard from him.

Out of the Impound[edit]

Nyssa's package is in a building labeled 'Storage A'. It is in the rear of the landing pad your starship is on.
You have a couple of options to get inside.
UC Security Keycard: To the left of the door is an ID card reader. If you have Sergeant Yumi's UC Security keycard you can use it to open the door.
Emin Macar: When you approach the door Emin Macar will approach you. You can persuade him to open the door for you.
Computer hacking: The wall to the right of the door has a computer console locked with novice security level. You can hack it to open the door.
Nyssa's package is in a storage container on a shelf opposite the door.

Deliver the package[edit]

Return to the Viewport and hand the package to Nyssa.

Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage City_NA_Viewport01 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest City_NA_Viewport01.
