Official Summary[edit]
"When the colony ship ECS Constant arrived at its destination prior to this quest, they found it already inhabited, dashing their plans of colonizing it. The player helped by outfiting the ship with a grav drive so it can find a new home world. However, the captain of the ship, Diana Brackenridge, is determined to find the perfect world, as close to the original as possible. This makes Janet Yang upset, because she is sick of this ship and deserately wants to leave after finding out that there are other people out there. The player offers to help convince the captain to let her go."

Addressing Captain Diana Brackenridge. The player just traded a sack of potatoes to Captain Brackenridge to make up for the temporary loss of food production that the ECS Constant would face by letting Janet Yang go off by herself. Janet is now free to go. This was a generous, though strange deal. There's also the issue that the fragility of the ship's ecosystem: if letting one person go would impact them so much.[affinity 1] |

Addressing Captain Diana Brackenridge. The player has successfully negotiated with Captain Brackenridge to allow Janet Yang to leave the ECS Constant, even though she insists that none of the other colonists leave the ship. Brackenridge is young and inexperienced, so letting her know she made the right choice here might help her.[affinity 2] |

- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering
