Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Nilesh Sherazi for the seed.
- (Optional) Ask Nilesh for a distraction.
- Either give the seed to the guard or plant the seed.
Walkthrough[edit]
Talk to Nilesh Sherazi, who has an olive seed that he wants planted in the middle of New Atlantis as a symbol of peace. He apparently tried to plant it before, and got in trouble for it. He gives you the seed, and warns that the nearby guard will be angry if he catches you trying to plant it.
At this point, you can give the seed to the guard who will properly dispose of it (commending you for your actions, as littering is a crime), ending the quest with no rewards.
If you attempt to plant the seed without sneaking, the guard will stop you but have otherwise no effect.
If you kill the guard, then escape and clear your bounty, then you can plant the seed without issue.
You can ask Nilesh to provide a distraction. If you do so, he will do the "Akila City Shuffle" and call the guard over to report a crime of passion. After some questioning, he says he meant a crime of fashion, referring to the guard's uniform. The guard does not find the humor in this, however he was distracted during the conversation which provides an excellent for you to plant the seed.
Once the seed is planted, return to Nilesh who rewards you for your silence.

- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering
setstage City_NewAtlantis_Z_OliveBranch stage, wherestageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission usingresetquest City_NewAtlantis_Z_OliveBranch.
