Official Summary[edit]

"The player has gotten the Exective Assistant job and must report to Peter Brennan. This is all in an effort to help Trevor Petyarre and the miners. Trevor has submitted a request for new mining equipment to Peter. The player must get access to Peter's computer and approve the request, because Peter can't do anything without his assistant doing it for him. But first, Peter needs the player to go get a shipment he's waiting for. The player finds that the Governor of Cydonia, Glen Hurst, has held Peter's shipment, and requires the player to take care of a problem for him before he'll release the shipment. The player tracks down Hurst's ship and either destroys it, or finds out the truth behind Hurst's intentions. Either way, they'll be able to return with the package to Brennan, and finish their task."

Companion Affinity[edit]

There is one affinity event that can happen during this mission.

Affinity Stage Andreja Barrett Sam Coe Sarah Morgan

The player has completed a task for Governor Hurst, and told him they destroyed his ship for him. But, they've also discovered why Hurst wanted it destroyed. the player found a note from Hurst to the pirates, that implicates that he originally hired the pirates to destroy the ship and his mistress in an attempt to cover up both the fact that he has a mistress and that she stole his government-issued ship, which obviously looks bad for the Governor of Cydonia. Now, the player is blackmailing Hurst.[affinity 1]

Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage City_CY_RedTape02 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest City_CY_RedTape02.
