Official Summary[edit]

"The player happens upon Rivkah Ovadia (RIV-kah o-VAh-dee-ah), who is ill with some sort of respiratory issue. After asking about it, she informs the player that she can't get help because she is currently Wanted by her father after attacking him and stealing his spaceship, hinting that their relationship was toxic and she did it to escape. She wants to try to repair that relationship with him, but knows that he put a bounty on her and has been trying to track her down ever since.\n\nThe player offers to help, and she tells him to bring him a bottle of his favorite whiskey as a peace offering form her.\n\nWhen the player confronts her father, Natan (Nah-TAHN), he is distrustful, stubborn, and aggressive. The player may take one of several approaches which can bring him to his senses, or escalate the situation. The player then returns to Rivkah to tell her what transpired, or, they can side with Natan and turn in Rivkah."

Companion Affinity[edit]

There are multiple affinity events that can happen during this mission.

Rivkah is a miner in Cydonia. She ran away from her father, who had become controlling and manipulative. She punched him out and stole his ship, so he put a bounty on her and she disappeared. Natan is Rivkah's father. The player failed to convince Natan and decided to attack him. This should be a very short line since combat is about to start, and should have a consequence with the companion.[affinity 1]

-

The player convinced Natan to reconcile with Rivkah. This is the best, most diplomatic, empathetic ending.[affinity 2]

The player failed to convince Natan of anything, and Natan is now calling Security. The companion may be impressed that the player is sticking to their promise with Rivkah.[affinity 3]

The player agreed to tell Natan where Rivkah is. This is the opposite of what Rivkah wanted, and it will be bad for her.[affinity 4]

The player convinced Natan to leave Rivkah be via diplomacy, but then threatened Natan, just to make sure.[affinity 5]

The player intimidated Natan into leaving Rivkah alone, then left him with the same threat as choice 5.[affinity 6]

Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage City_CY_Runaway01 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest City_CY_Runaway01.
