UC SysDef is a branch of the UC Navy dedicated to combatting piracy. They are currently tasked with destroying the Crimson Fleet. UC SysDef is headquartered in the MAST Tower in New Atlantis, but in practice its leadership operates primarily from its flagship, the battlecruiser UC Vigilance.
Missions[edit]
In the Crimson Fleet questline, the player either joins the Crimson Fleet, or goes undercover and infiltrates them on behalf of UC SysDef. They are soon caught up in Delgado's search for Kryx's Legacy, a legendary treasure that could make the Fleet a major player in galactic politics.
Membership[edit]
There are two ways to join the faction:
- Get arrested in United Colonies space for the first time.
- Complete the UC Vanguard mission, Grunt Work.
Main Missions[edit]
Deep Cover: Go undercover to infiltrate the Crimson Fleet.- Rook Meets King: Prove your worth to Naeva Mora.
- Echoes of the Past: Explore The Lock for evidence of Kryx's Legacy
- Breaking the Bank: Head to the Siren of the Stars to steal GalBank credentials.
- The Best There Is: Steal the prototype ComSpike from a classified UC research station.
- Absolute Power: Acquire Conduction Grid technology from Generdyne in Neon.
- Eye of the Storm: Retrieve Kryx's Legacy.
- One of:
- Legacy's End (Fleet): Help the Crimson Fleet defend itself from Sysdef and destroy the Vigilance.
- Legacy's End (Sys Def): Help SysDef attack the Crimson Fleet and put a stop to the criminal gang.
Misc Missions[edit]
- Burden of Proof: Gather evidence on the Crimson Fleet for UC SysDef.
- Reclaiming the Past: Recover a sentimental ring for The Key's bartender, Bog
- Doctor's Orders: Collect supplies for the clinic onboard The Key
