Xenosociology is a Master Social skill.
It has perks similar to the Intimidation and Manipulation skill, except targeted at Fauna instead of People. The first rank lets you force targeted fauna from attacking you for a limited time, and the second rank can allow you to force them to flee as well. Third third ranks give you the ability to order aliens to attack their allies for you, and the highest tier lets you give them specific commands.
Xenosociology is unlocked by spending a total of 12 skill points in the Social skill tree.

After investing the required dozen points into the Social Skills tree, Xeno Sociology's challenges require you to use the skill you gain from each rank to earn the ability to unlock the next one.
