Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak to Masako.
- Travel to CM Station RC-1 on Carinae III-a.
- Go into the control room and access CM Station RC-1 Computer.
- Travel to The Clinic.
- Access the secure wing either by persuasion, Medicine skill, bribery with Aurora, or lying.
- Collect the refined rothicite shipment and learn about the dead Infinity LTD test subjects.
- Return to Masako.
Walkthrough[edit]
Prelude[edit]
Dalton told you that Masako wants to see you in Veena's office in R&D, so go to the elevator in Ryujin Tower. If you want you can stop by on operations floor and have a conversation with Lane. Then go to research an development floor and head to Veena's office where Masako and Camden are with Veena. Camden is worried about a shipment of rothicite.
Masako's top priority right now is to complete Ryujins' internal neuroamp. Veena explains that a material called rothicide is required for this and Camden lays out that he has a contract with Consolidated Mining for this purpose. The last shipment of rothicide is late, and no involved party has had communication with mining station CM Station RC-1 on Carinae III-a. You task is is to find the missing shipment, find out what happened to it, and bring it back. Camden provides CM Station RC-1 Mine Keycard. You can talk to Camden, Masako and Veena again to get some information.
CM Station RC-1[edit]
Travel to Carinae III-a in the Carinae System and land at CM Station RC-1.
You land right in front of the mine. You are looking to get into the research and control tower. It's the tower on the right side of the complex, but for now it's locked.
So go up the wide ramp towards the mine, and you will soon be attacked by Eclipse mercenaries.
Go around the carrying vehicle and up the stairs to the upper level. Enter the building through the door to your left.
Go right in the second room and down the stairs. Ride the elevator labeled 'lower level access' down to the mine.
Leave the equipment room and go south into the mine. Follow the tunnel as it turns west.
In the chamber with the massive tunnel boring machine go right along the catwalk and into the next tunnel to the north.
Follow the tunnel to another elevator and ride the elevator up.
Go into the control room and access CM Station RC-1 Computer ahead. Go into Shipments and look at the entry labeled 'Ryujin Industries [CANCELED]'. Ryujin's shipment has been redirected to The Clinic.
In the same room you will have fought an ecliptic commandant who carried Contract Orders. Pick those up and Contract Orders will be in your inventory's Notes section. You learn that Lucas Drexler from Infinity LTD contracted Ecliptic to retrieve the rothicite shipment intended for Ryujin and redirect it to The Clinic.
The south-western side of the room has a door you can open with the switch next to it, giving you a quick way to leave.
The Clinic[edit]
Travel to the Clinic in the Narion System and head towards the secure wing, to the left of the ranger's office.
As you approach the door, a Freestar guard will stop you because the area is off limits. To proceed, do one of:
- You can persuade the guard to give you Secure Wing Access Key
- Use Medicine skill to the same effect.
- Talk to Ari Miller at reception who reveals the guard has an Aurora addiction and a crush on Dr. Osian. Bribe him with some, or lie about Osian, to get the guard the leave. Pick the door (novice lock) to access the secure wing.
Inside the secure wing follow the hallway until you hear Sean McAfee argue with Dr. Kendrick Lane, but don't get so close to them that they get suspicious.
Follow Sean and talk to him. He will reveal that he is part of a private contract with Infinity LTD concerning Project Dominion which includes human trials. He also reveals that Infinity does not have human trial authorization but the Clinic went along with the trials anyway. After Dr. Lane introduces himself into the conversation Sean tells you to take any evidence you need. There is a computer on the wall that you can check for some information.
Go to the office you saw the two of them arguing earlier. It has the refined rothicite shipment sitting in a suitcase on a table. You can also check Dr. Lane's computer for even more background information.
Return to Ryujin Tower, go to research and development floor and talk to Veena in her office. Masako and Camden are still there.
Veena will take refined rothicite shipment off your hands and excuse herself to finalize the prototype internal neuroamp. Masako asks what you leared at SM Station RC-1. She is horrified that Lucas Drexler would send Ecliptic after an unprotected mining facility and about the human trials at the clinic. Masako wants you to talk to Dalton who has new information regarding the mole.

- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering
setstage RI06 stage, wherestageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission usingresetquest RI06.
