Walkthrough

Your next job will be framing Laredo Firearms who is competing for a contract against Ryujin's subsidiary Arboron. The contractor will send a representative to Laredos's office in Akila City. Imogene wants you to place some incriminating but veracious evidence against Laredo. Again, Imogene wants you to do a clean and careful job without bounties or bodies. She gives you a slate of confidential files.

Travel to Akila City on Akila in the Cheyenne System. From the spaceport pass the welcome sign, follow the path and keep left and go through the city gates with the second welcome sign. Inside the city go right with the Hitching Post to your left. Pass the small shack with advertisements for The Classic Rocks and Enhance! to you right and Trading Authority to your left and go under the bridge. Laredo Fireams is the first building on your right behind the bridge. You have three options to enter the building:

• Simply walk through the showroom and through the door left of the shop counter. Take a right, turn left when you are in front of the restroom, and go up the stairs.
• If you want to be little bit more sneaky pass the front door and follow the building past crates, dumpsters and tables. Go into the alley on the right between Laredo and the shooting range. At the end of the alley on your right you find the back door. Go inside, straight through another door, turn left when you are in front of the restroom, and go up the stairs.
• The sneakiest of the three ways it through a hatch on the roof. You need to go up on the city wall. There are multiple ways up there. The easiest way from where you are is: Turn your back to Laredo's front door. Follow the path down a flight of stairs and keep to your left up a couple of stairs. Turn left up a flight of stairs and straight ahead another flight of stairs. If you look ahead you see the Laredo sign through a tree. On your right is a passage into a tower. Go through the passage and up four flights of stairs. Don't go all the way to the top. When you come up the fourth flight of stairs there will be a passage opposite and to the right of you. Go through there. Across the bridge and left you see the fenced rooftop of Laredo Firearms. Go across the bridge and follow the fence on you left around the corner to the left. Where the fence ends you climb up the small wall to your left and go through the hatch.

You are now in Laredo's office space. You need to go inside the private office through the door ahead and to your left that has a novice security level lock. Alternatively you can pickpocket Reisha's Office Key from Reisha Lance. Inside this office you find a chest on the floor. You need to unlock this chest and put the confidential files inside. You find them in the miscellaneous category of you inventory. You don't have to sneak for that, just walk in and place the files. Leave Laredo Firearms any way you like and return to Imogene' office at operations level in Ryujin Tower in Neon on Volii Alpha in the Volii System. Talk to Imogene to complete the mission.

300		(QO: Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower) I successfully planted the confidential files at Laredo Firearms. I need to return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower and let her know it's done.

Notes

• Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
• Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
• On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage RIR02 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest RIR02.
