Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Imogene Salzo.
  2. Travel to HopeTech.
  3. Plant the ARC device.
  4. Return to Imogene.

Walkthrough[edit]

HopeTech has stolen from Ryujin and tarnished Ryujin's name. To teach them a lesson Imogene wants you to plant an ARC device in their systems. You need to travel to HopeTown on Polvo in the Valo System. Enter the HopeTech main building.

There is no need to sneak initially. You need to go through the security scanners, past the seating area and through the door on the left side of Maxwell Evans' desk. You follow the corridor to the right, then go through the door to the left into the production hall. From there you go straight ahead and a little to the left, so you pass under a staircase and go through a pasagesway in the scaffolding. When you emerge from the passage you go ahead and left up some stairs, some orange solid storage containers to your left at the bottom of the stairs. At the top of the stairs, you go across the platform and up another set of stairs into a starship hull. You go to your right until you reach a compartment that has to ladders leading to the deck above. Climb one of those ladders and turn south. You need to place the ARC device on an access point in the next room.

Now you need to be careful that no one sees you planting the device. There is a guard around. If the guard won't move, go to the cockpit and talk to the guard from this side. Then go around the guard and plant the device.

Go back to Imogene's office at operations at Ryujin Tower in Neon on Volii Alpha in the Volii System.

Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage RIR04 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest RIR04.
