Deserted Freestar Collective Garrison is a Military Point of Interest that can sometimes be identified from orbit.
It is a hilltop military camp, built around a central landing pad. The base proper sits atop a hill with steep slopes. A path leads up to a cleft in the hill, from which an elevator can take you up to the landing pad. Surrounding the landing pad are three buildings - the main building, a barracks, and a warehouse. All of these buildings can be accessed from the cluttered landing pad, but the main building also has a rear entrance that can be accessed by going behind the warehouse.
The barracks is a one-room building with a single entrance. It contains a keycard to the main building, Private Brown's log, and Nova Galactic Manual 04.
The main building consists of three main rooms - a ground floor mess hall, a second floor workshop, and a second floor command center. The workshop also connects to a rear balcony. The front door is locked, but can be opened from the inside via a nearby computer. The balcony contains a vodka still and Lieutenant Rolfe's log, and provides an alternative access to the building. The command center contains the storage room keycard and Captain Hogan's log. Activating the switch on the computer console will cause music to play over the base's loudspeakers.
The warehouse consists of a large main room and a locked storage room with the majority of the base's loot.
