Derelict Achilles is a derelict Class A Achilles ship, where the only person on board, a worker, killed themselves after an encounter with "weird leech things" during their time off.
They booked an "incredibly cheap and a little dangerous package"[1], which had them spend the night in an alien swamp. They slept there that night and when they woke up, they were covered in "weird leech things".[2]
A few days later, they developed a mild burning sensation and itching on their scalp, they tried an antibiotic cream they found in a first aid kit, but it didn't help.[3] After four days without sleep, they then reported feeling as though something was attempting to eat its way into their brain, so they changed the ship's course to the closest settlement with a medical facility.[4] But they were driven to suicide because they were hearing voices in their head that would not stop.[5]
