Subsurface Seas are a point of interest found on planets with the Slushy Subsurface Seas trait.

In order to discover the associated planet trait, you'll need to scan 1-3 Organonitrogen Vents. The vents have the following description when you look at them with your scanner: "Volatile gasses are ejected from the oscillating slushy ocean deep below the frozen surface." Consists of a subsurface body of hot water that isn't frozen over even in extreme cold environments.
