Clemens' Truth is a derelict ship and site of mass ritual suicide. The leader of the cult, Star Child, lead the cult members into suicide on the promise that their souls would join into the tail of the Clemen's comet. The cult believed that this was possible should you die while in the tail of the comet, which he believed was made of the same ionized gas as souls are. The leader's note, Star Child's Note, suggests that he may have led the mass suicide in the hopes of infamy, as opposed to truly believing what he preached.

The cult members killed themselves with a special, presumably poisoned, orange juice, Orange Juice of Transcendence. At least one cult member did not kill themselves at the same time as the others, however there is no evidence of what became of that person.

Larry Dumbrosky has the only Orange Juice of Transcendence which is not located on the ship in his state room onboard the Siren of the Stars. It is unclear why he has this juice.

Real Life Connections[edit]

The cultists motivations closely mirror the real life cult Heaven's Gate, in which 39 people took their own lives in San Diego, California.

The use of juice as a means of suicide is similar to the real life Jim Jones Cult, which used a poisoned kool-aid like drink to commit suicide and murder members of their cult in Jonestown, Guyana, resulting in the deaths of 909 people.
