Supervisor Lin

Lin is a mining supervisor for Argos Extractors and a recruitable elite crewmember.

She was in charge of the Constellation commissioned digs at the Argos Extractors Mining Outpost on Vectera as well as the Ka'zaal Sulfur Mine on Ka'zaal. She grew to dislike Barrett during these jobs due to the trouble they caused her and her team.

Her equipment consists of a Tunnel Mining Pack, Deep Mining Spacesuit, and Lin's Deep Mining Space Helmet. She has the special Elite Crew version of the Sidestar. During One Small Step she will instead have a Cutter.

Background

Her parents were miners and she learned the trade since she was old enough to dig. Her husband, Manuel, talked her into serving in the Colony War, where she served the United Colonies as a drill sergeant. A month before the armistice, her husband was killed, which she describes as the worst thing that ever happened to her.

She was commissioned by Constellation to locate an anomaly on Ka'zaal under the guise of a rare mineral contract, and later hired for the same job on Vectera.
