Leona Hawkes is an employee of Deimos Staryards Inc who works in their corporate quarters in Cydonia.
Like the rest of the office workers, she can be found at the Broken Spear from 5PM to 5AM. From 5AM to 5PM she will be at the corporate office, performing her work duties.
Leona wears Urban Slackwear. She carries an Eon with ammo for self defense. She carries a large amount of Credits, and can carry Aid Items.
Dialogue[edit]
Leona has numerous greetings:
- "I still can't believe I had to fill out one of those evaluations..."
- "It's not easy, coordinating corporate efforts between the staryard and here."
- "I've warmed up to Mars since I came here."
- "I could never leave these people behind. Their continued success is my life's work."
- "Deimos Staryards may be the first major ship manufacturer, but that doesn't mean we haven't kept up with the times."
- "I know the Deimos employees here on Mars think I'm overbearing, but what they don't know is I've saved this operation from being shut down countless times."
If you stop speaking mid-conversation, she will say:
- "Don't mind me..."
- "No offense, but is everything okay?"
- "Sorry, you were saying?"
She ends conversations by saying:
- "Have a good day."
- "Take care now."
- "Bye, then."
You can converse with Leona, and will have a unique greeting the first time:
- "Hello there, do I know you?"
- Nah, I'm just striking up conversation.
- "Ah, I see. Well..."
- I was wondering the same thing.
- "Huh, how odd that we both thought we knew each other!"
- [Lie] I'm <Alias=Player>. I work for Deimos.
- "Huh... name doesn't ring a bell. You must not work at the office here in Cydonia then. Well, nice to meet you, anyway."
- I'm <Alias=Player> I was hired as Peter's assistant.
- "Ah yes, I seem to recall hearing about that. Well, it's nice to finally meet you."
- I'm just here helping out Gilly.
- "Oh, that's nice. I know she's been having a bit of a rough time, so I'm glad someone's able to help her out."
Regardless of the previous option, she will continue:
- "I'm Leona Hawkes, Deimos Staryards corporate liaison. Anyone who deals with our office likely deals with me at some point. I suppose I'll be seeing you around."

- "We've been contracted with the UC for decades to provide military-focused crafts for the entire fleet. It makes sense that they trust us, as Deimos is the oldest standing ship manufacturer in the Settled Systems. We were responsible for some of the major advancements in Grav Drive technology since the early days of its existence, so our legacy is strong."
- What do you do here?
- "I coordinate between Deimos corporate and the other operations, such as the staryard itself, and the mining operations here on Cydonia. Deimos Staryards Corporation is a complex entity, given that the different divisions have different goals and priorities. My job is to make sure those are all in alignment."

Mission-Related Events[edit]
Leona is one of the employees subject to a psych evaluation during the events of Psyched. Like the other employees, she will not give much trouble over it, although will sass Gilly.
- Leona: :So... Gilly wants you to fill out these questions.
- "A psychological evaluation? Are you kidding me? Gilly! I'm the one who ordered this program in the first place, do I really need to go through with this?"
- Gilly: I'm well aware, but you are an employee, and it is company policy that everyone gets one.
- Leona: "Okay, okay, fine. Let me have it. There you go. Remind me to make myself and the other execs exempt from these in the future. We wouldn't be where we are if we were a liability."
The evaluation she returns will have some minor variations, based on your actions. They can be seen here, here, here, and here.
She will have a few extra greetings after filling out the form:
- "Hopefully whenever Gilly gets everything sorted out, she can handle all of this herself again."
- "These evaluations have definitely saved us some trouble in the past."
- "I can't believe she made me fill one of those things out. Then again, I was the one who requested them..."
When returning the forms, Gilly will return the sass back:
- Gilly: "You've got all those forms filled out and returned? Anyone give you any trouble? Other than Leona?"
- Leona: "I heard that!"
Conversations[edit]
She can have a conversation with Tia Wu.
- Tia Wu: "Any traction on getting the board to agree to opening up the HR headcount for me?"
- Leona Hawkes: "Sorry, Tia. I'll bring it up again at the next meeting, but I doubt anything's going to happen. You're not saying you can't handle the workload, are you?"
- Tia Wu: "Oh... Of course not... Everything would just operate a little more smoothly if I had someone to assist me."
- Leona Hawkes: "Well, you know office space is limited, but we'll see. I'll make a note of it and see what they have to say."
