In-game Information

It is first found during the beginning One Small Step when the Crimson Fleet pirates land and begin to attack. The player is told to grab a weapon, then the Eon can be found on a crate between the landing pad and the loading area in front of the door where the player wakes up.

Some weapon traders sell them at a low level, and they can be found as loot.
