Jaylen Pryce is a resident of Neon, a Freestar Ranger, and the nephew of Alexis Pryce. He is in command of the Ranger Station in Neon.
Pryce is more flexible in his approach than most other Rangers - he recognizes that the Rangers do not enjoy the same respect in Neon that they do in the Cheyenne System, and focuses on trying to keep the peace rather than enforcing the law. He has connections to Neon's elite through his aunt, and was chosen for his post because of his skill at handling Neon politics.
Pryce is partnered with fellow ranger Lillian Hart, who he has romantic feelings for. For this reason, he has a strong distaste for Hart's ex-husband, former Ranger Sam Coe.
