Ayumi was already COO of Generdyne when Benjamin Bayu took over the company by arranging the death of its CEO. Ayumi was forced to seduce Bayu in order to retain her position at the company and ensure her own safety. She did this despite being in a romantic relationship with Myka.
Despite being gainfully employed, Ayumi is broke and burdened by debt.
