The Well is the underbelly of New Atlantis, housing the city's poorer residents.
The Well can be accessed from elevators found in the New Atlantis Spaceport and in the NAT Station in the MAST District. There is an additional entrance from the basement of The Lodge, but is locked until the mission High Price to Pay.
The layout of The Well is essentially an underground city block, with the central-most buildings inaccessible. The northeast corner features UC Surplus, a Security Office, Jay's House, and an exit to New Atlantis. Between the northeast and southeast section is the local House of the Enlightened office in the middle of the passage. The southeast corner is dominated by the local Trade Authority branch, with Apex Electronics next to it. The southwest section is more rundown, but features Jake's. The northwest section includes an exit to the MAST Tram Station and the MedBay, with internal waterfalls making up the northern wall of this section.
