The Stretch is the poorest district of Akila City.

It consists of an undeveloped stretch of land between Midtown and the city walls, where the population is either homeless or live in small shacks. The population lives in poverty and is largely dependent on charitable donations from the wealthy residents of the Core.

What about Midtown?
When asking Elias this question, the subtitles say:
"The Stretch is the district that runs along the inside of the great wall that surrounds the city.
But what Elias actually says is:
"As the name might suggest, Wallside's the district that runs along the inside of the great wall that surrounds the city."
