The Sonder is a starstation located in the Bessel System, orbiting Bessel II.

The Chief of Staff onboard The Sonder allowed an intern to use their custom programming on the robots onboard the starstation, because the intern said it would improve their efficiency by 27.6%. Shortly after the intern was allowed to use their custom programming, the robots started acting weird. They started to not consider the safety of the humans around them. Chris Ricci, the Storage Supervisor, died onboard due to an allergic reaction, which shouldn't have happened, because the meal replicators were programmed to have been made well aware of any allergies beforehand. Another person, named Lex, was leaning up against a stack of crates, and a robot dropped a pallet on their hand.
