Freestar Captain's Log is a magazine in Starfield. It can be found at various locations in the Settled Systems and grants bonuses when picked up.

Bonuses

Bonuses are granted, in order, as the magazines are picked up. This means that the first magazine picked up, regardless of it's location or name, will always grant the first bonus.

1. Permanently increases carry capacity by 5kg.
2. Permanently adds a 1% chance to disarm enemies with unarmed or melee strikes.
3. Permanently do 5% more damage to robots.
4. Explosives permanently do 5% more damage and have a 5% larger radius.
5. Permanently take 5% less damage from alien creatures.

Locations

Freestar Captain's Log 01

Location:  Pressurized Cave (random) (random POI), found outside the entrance. Seek out and approach "natural" cave POI icons while exploring as there's a random chance those caves are Pressurized. The POI name will change one cave is entered.

Location of Freestar Captain's Log 02

Permanently adds a 1% chance to disarm enemies with unarmed or melee strikes.
Location:  Deserted Mineral Plant (random) (random POI), crew quarters in a locker.

Freestar Captain's Log 03

Location:  Akila City, inside Akila City Consulate on a table.

Freestar Captain's Log 04

Location:  Deserted Research Outpost (random), found in the kitchen.

Permanently increases carry capacity by 5kg.
Location: Abandoned Mech Factory, in the room you find Paxton on a desk.
