Dr. Victor Aiza was a scientist who worked at NASA and was the pioneer of Grav Drives. Reviewing notes found on terminals during the Unearthed mission reveals that Dr. Aiza stumbled upon an Artifact on Mars. Upon touching this artifact, he met himself from another universe, who provided the knowledge and equations to bring grav drives to reality. The testing of the grav drives caused the Earth's magnetosphere and atmosphere to fail, which led to the exodus from Earth. A final note reveals that Dr. Aiza was aware of this happening but sacrificed Earth to bring upon the new era of space exploration.
