The Lock is a former United Colonies prison, now in ruins.
100 years ago, after a prisoner riot lead by Jasper Kryx, the prison was abandoned. After stealing some ships, the prisoners took over The Key as well.
At the time of the riot, the security chief was Sally Pritchard, the warden was Thom Gillespie, and the event supervisor was Wayne Harrishman.
The primary issue with this prison which lead to its collapse was that it was carved out of the planet's permafrost. The prisoners were able to fashion weapons from the frozen earth. The prisoners escaped by digging a hole in a storage room off of a venellation room. This hole lead to the guards quarters where the prisoners swarmed them with improvised weapons. The warden was aware of the digging, however was unable to obtain enough security to stop the massacre.
Kryx was in cell D-03-118
The key is comprised of 6 sections:
