The Armistice was a treaty signed by the United Colonies, Freestar Collective, and House Va'ruun, that marked the end of the Colony War.
Following the Colony War, the Armistice outlined the terms of peace between the three major factions in the Settled Systems as well as formally banning several pieces of technology used during the war (namely Mechs and Xenowarfare).
The information pertaining to the armistice as well as the data on banned technology was then kept secure at the Armistice Archives in New Atlantis
