Neon Merchant can be encountered when you first enter Aphelion Realty located in New Atlantis, the capital of the United Colonies located on Jemison. He can be found attempting to buy property in the city, but being turned down by the Aphelion Realty Agent due to him not being a citizen.
He wears Neocity Corpwear and has a Navigator Pack, as well as a leveled Navigator Space Helmet and Navigator Spacesuit. He will also have a leveled weapon and potentially an aid item and credits.
Dialogue[edit]
When you first visit Aphelion Realty, his attempt to buy property will play out:
- Neon Merchant: "Just tell me how many zero's I need to add to the offer."
- Aphelion Realty Agent: "I'm sorry, sir, but we can't sell to you. UC citizens only."
- Neon Merchant: "Ah. I think I understand. And the cost to put me down as a citizen would be... what exactly?"
- Aphelion Realty Agent: "Sir, bribery's a crime in the Colonies."
- Neon Merchant: "Hmm. Fine. Perhaps I'll just be having a chat with your superiors then. Good day."
If you try to speak to him he will grumble about trying to buy property more:
- "UC and their damned regulations."
- "All I want to do is give the United Colonies my money. Why do they need to make that so challenging?"
- "Wonder how much this "citizenship" is going to run me."
