Genghis Khan is a "Frankensteined" clone of the warlord and founder of the Mongol Empire by the same name, cobbled together from the DNA of his namesake's descendants. He is the leader of the Renegades found in Crucible on Charybdis III.
Possibly because of their Frankensteined nature, all clones of Genghis Khan created at the Facility inevitably reject the Facility's programming. He firmly believes that, regardless of his genetics or programming, he is a completely separate individual from the original Genghis Khan. As a result, he seeks to escape Crucible and determine his own fate.
