Asteroid field	Something went wrong with the Grav Drive. I've never seen the Planck mapping take that long, and it was stuck in a loop until I diverted all power to the drive. I should've realized it was busted and just ran a diagnostic, but I decided to punch through. So instead of jumping to Sol like we planned, we landed in the middle of an asteroid field. I managed to steer us out of it, but we took some heavy damage. Damn. This is on me.
Coordinate error	I had Iris do a post-mortem and analyze the grav drive system. According to her, the inferometer calibration is broken. None of the mappings are anywhere near the destination. And that's the just for starters. Aleksy and Pete have been combing over the rest of the ship, and the news is grim. The collision with the asteroid caused a stress fracture to multiple exhaust pipes. A scan of the air quality shows high levels of ammonia and hydrogen chloride. Some of the tools we'll need to do repairs have also been damaged, meaning our best option is to seal off the toxic areas and try to signal for help.
No contact	Haven't seen another ship pass by for days. Now we've got corrosive liquid flooding the ship on top of the gas leaks, and the cockpit is off limits. So we'll have to cross our fingers and pray someone docks with the ship. The ship is done, no repair job can fix it now. And since a rescue's our only hope, we're going to seal ourselves in the crew quarters and wait it out.
