Hey There Stranger![edit]

That's strange...[edit]

Hey Jeancey

Excuse the direct comment here, I didn't think it appropriate to put on Discord.
I noticed (in my watchlist) an edit you made to Jemison recently suggesting 'we don't need references here...'. I'm obviously curious as I use/used Jemison's page layout as my guideline on editing pages. Looking at the History I noticed a very odd thing that it's recorded that I made recent changes to Jemison... But raking my brain, I'm almost positive I did not, as I only used Jemison as my reference.
Have you heard of something like this happening where one person's identity is used in the History when they didn't make the changes? This is very strange indeed because I cannot remember editing anything on Jemison at all.
And lastly just a follow up to the latest Discord suggestion you made... I haven't even looked at the Preferences, didn't know HotCat was an option and frankly have no clue what it was if I saw it. I've enabled it now. Is there anything else I can do to reduce your workload if I'm uploading and editing. This is my first time participating in a Wiki editing community (been webpage crafting a couple decades ago though). So if there is anything that I'm not doing correctly please let me know.

Oh, the reference change was completely unrelated to your edit, which was actually several days ago. The edit you made is in line with many of the other edits you've made (formatting in the infobox for traits).
In terms of removing the references, generally speaking, information that is found in the game doesn't need to use the reference template to cite on Gamespace pages, since basically all the information is just from the game. Jemison still had some reference templates from pre-release, when we couldn't know for sure what was in the game so we cited things like the fact it was the UC capitol world to the gameplay deep dive video. Once the game came out, that referencing isn't really needed, so I removed it. :) Hopefully that all makes sense! Jeancey (talk) 11:23, 3 November 2023 (EDT)
