People left behind?

Do we have a source for the statement "with billions of people left behind to die."? I have not been able to locate any in-game lore referencing this. --Starborn5500 (talk) 08:19, 7 November 2023 (EST)

I don't believe we do, nor does it make sense in lore - humanity had plenty of warning, and the UC was a major international project. Presumably some people were left behind, of course, but I doubt it was billions. --Galle (talk) 09:03, 7 November 2023 (EST)
