Mission Stages[edit]

Sympathy for the Living (SFBGS001_DazraZ03)
Stage Finishes Mission Mission Entry
0(DEBUG Start)
5(Quest Start)
10(Intro Done - Offer Quest in TL)
15(Refinery Question Asked)
20(Nalada Assigns Quest)
I've agreed to assist Nalada from Dazra in finding her brother, Quasim. He was last seen in the vicinity of Deep Gorge Refinery. I should proceed there and investigate.
30(Player arrived at Location - Point at Boss)
I've arrived at Deep Gorge Refinery. I should begin searching for signs of Nalada's brother, Quasim.
40(Player found keycard - Point at Marker in Trigger)
50(Player used lift - Point at Aux Power Machinary)
I've discovered some type of concealed military research installation below Deep Gorge Refinery. I should continue my exploration of this location to locate Nalada's brother, Quasim. First step is to restore power to the facility.
60(Player Restored Aux Power - Point to Terminal)
With the power partially restored to Research Site Theta, I should delve deeper and search for any mention of Nalada's brother, Quasim.
70(Player used Terminal - Point to Cell)
I've stumbled upon a terminal that seems to indicate Quasim was held in a cell nearby, I should proceed there immediately.
80(Player reached Cell - Point to Blood trail)
Quasim's cell is clearly empty, but a relatively fresh blood trail seems to be heading deeper into the facility. I should follow the trail and see where it leads.
90(Player hit trigger at end of Blood Trail - Point to Main Power)
As I was following the blood trail in my search for Quasim, the power to the facility was suddenly disrupted. I need to find a way to get the main power back online.
100(Main Stuff Done - Redeemed Revealed - Point to Vent Exit to Redeemed Room)
As I restored the main power to Research Site Theta, the shutters to an operating theater opened and revealed a horrible creature. I should pursue this creature immediately before it kills Quasim!
101(Player hit trigger - point to next xmarker in breadcrumb trail)
110(Trigger at Vent Exit Hit - Point at Redeemed)
120(Redeemed Killed - Point to Corpse)
I've killed the twisted creature and should now search its corpse for anything that might give me a clue as to Quasim's whereabouts.
130(Slate Recovered from Redeemed - Point to Fast Exit or Nalada)
Listening to the slate I've discovered that the "creature" was actually Quasim himself, having been transformed by some type of terrible experiment. I should proceed back to Nalada and think about how I'm going to deliver the bad news.
140(Player hit Breadcrumb at Vent - Point to Nalada or Load)
200(Ending 1 - Told Nalada Quasim is Dead)
300(Ending 2 - Lied to Nalada and Say Quasim is Missing)
1000(Quest Done)
I've decided to lie to Nalada, and reveal that there was no sign of Quasim at the refinery. She was understandably disappointed, but at least she isn't heartbroken that he's actually dead.
Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage SFBGS001_DazraZ03 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest SFBGS001_DazraZ03.
