Director's Incident Report

Shortly after midnight, a series of explosions in the High Energy Research Lab triggered a security lockdown. A brief release of hydrogen gas was detected in air interchange system, along with particulates indicative of a major collapse or severe damage to lab facilities.
Chief of Security E. HUGHES canceled the lockdown for the surface facility at 04:30, but all communication with the research level and its control systems has been lost.
Chief Engineer R. AGUERRO is missing, presumed dead. Security logs indicate he was alone in the lab at the time of the incident. All other personnel are accounted for. No other injuries reported.
