Entry 01 Great Serpent,

I am done with despair and have come to accept your challenge. My only regret is that I didn't recognize it sooner.

I will refocus my efforts on ensuring the safety of my cousins and thwarting the Zealots. There's sure to be something I can discover within their network. Perhaps I may finally garner some respect among my Ministry of Conjunction peers if I can pull this off.

Entry 02 Great Serpent,

Some level of success today. I was able to connect to an old directory and discovered this was once a military base with a focus on grav drive advancement. Now I understand why Mihael believes I have "all I need" to recreate Anasko's work.

Mihael must have learned I was part of the Speaker's original team, recruited to assist him to help reach You. I wonder where he may have gotten such information. My dear Envoy cousins perhaps? But those thoughts are a distraction I don't need right now.

Entry 03 Great Serpent,

I've discovered where they are holding my cousins. I was even able to gain control over the system that governs the security locks. I could easily free them, but dealing with the patrolling Zealots would be a different story.

Mihael brought in a couple of new "assets" today. I heard him refer to them as "Redeemed." The Zealots may consider them one of their own, but physically and mentally, they are an abomination, altered far beyond Your design. Even with my own skills, I don't believe any of us to be a match should we encounter one while attempting escape. It's still too risky.

Entry 04 Great Serpent,

I found my way into the network the Zealots are using to transfer data and updates to their ships. I was able to formulate a virus that now lies dormant within every major system in Epsilon and any ship that has linked up to the network within the past few days. I believe we now have the means to keep the Zealots at bay should we attempt an escape, but the Redeemed continue to be an unknown.

I remain faithful that we are not expendable and help will arrive soon. I've heard talk of negotiations. Perhaps we're closer to freedom than I think.
