LIMS-1764A/UC Message | Lock Intraprison Message System (LIMS-1764A/UC)
From: Warden Thom Gillespie (Auth 12210) Please be advised that we are taking all staff complaints regarding the intolerable temperatures within the Lock very seriously. Unfortunately, our facility has been provided a poorly-engineered heating system that is woefully insufficient to combat the cold, leaving some sections of the prison at temperatures as low as 5 degrees Celsius. Administration understands the conditions within the Lock are less than ideal for staff, so we ask for your patience while we wait for an improved system to be delivered from New Atlantis. In the meantime, portable heating units and cold-weather gear has been made available for assignment (please see your section supervisor for details). |
LIMS-1866A/UC Message | Lock Intraprison Message System (LIMS-1866A/UC)
From: Security Chief Sally Pritchard (Auth 23131) This security alert is being issued to all personnel. It's been brought to our attention that some of the prison population has discovered a way to create improvised weapons by carving chunks of permafrost from cell block walls. Thermal coils from portable heating units are being cannibalized and used to manufacture these dangerous items, therefore security has no choice but to remove the portable heating units from all prison cells. Extra blankets and cold-weather gear such as jackets and thermal undergarments will be distributed to replace the units. If you observe any prisoner in possession of an improvised weapon, be certain to activate a Blue Alert before approaching the subject. |

From: Event Supervisor Wayne Harrishman (Auth 30004) I'd like to congratulate Bryan Richard for winning last month's trivia contest! This month's questions are below. Good luck! 1. What type of star pulsates rapidly, which causes it to vary in diameter, temperature and luminance? |
