Derelict Shadid's Fortune is a derelict heavily damaged ship where the crew was saved by a passing ship.
There were 3 people onboard this ship; Penjani Alvez, Tariq, and Saliha Shadid. Tariq and Saliha are cousins, Tariq is 20 years older.
Something on the ship "went pop" which caused an explosion that killed all the power. They sent out a distress signal and confirmed it was transmitting. Penjani guessed the life support was out because they all developed a bit of a cough. A fire started behind some paneling, and Tariq went to put out the fire. After squeezing into a tiny service compartment, they heard another bang and Tariq started screaming. They pulled him out and saw that is entire upper body was badly burned. Salhia decided she would finish putting out the fire, she put it out without any issues. Penjani applied first aid to Tariq, keeping him alive but unconscious.
Salhia and Penjani both decided to try and sleep, so they use as little oxygen as possible while they wait for a rescue. Help finally came, and they were told they had just barely made it, but were all alive. They had to leave the ship for the time being, but Penjani left a slate behind, detailing the events.[1]
