Tomo Higashi used to work for as a technician Ryujin Industries but desperately wanted to be an operative. He was overzealous in proving himself up to the point that he submitted theories as facts in reports. When one of his theories proved wrong, an investigation was launched and he was fired by Ularu Chen. Back to the Grind makes you his replacement. He is very ambitious and was working hard for a promotion. He worked for Ryujin for four years performing menials tasks. He doesn't know why he was fired; one day security escorted him out of Ryujin Tower. He thinks that Ularu soon will send you to kill him because he knows too much about Ryujin operations.
